With just a quick scan of a QR code, you can unlock a rental by the hour. The package includes a paddle and life vest, so you’re good to go. It’s one of the easiest ways to explore the lake beyond the swim area and really see the shoreline from a new perspective.

You bet!

Stone Lake has some great spots right along the shore. Folks often pull in bass, bluegill, perch, and crappie from the banks near the park.

Tips for visiting:

  • Beat the crowd: If you want the beach a little more to yourself, go earlier in the day or on a weekday. Weekends, especially in July, can get busy.

  • Pack the extras: Sunscreen, towels, and a portable chair go a long way. A beach umbrella isn’t a bad idea either if you’re planning to stay all day.

  • Stay for sunset: Stone Lake puts on a good show in the evenings. Grab a spot along the shore and you’ll see why it’s a favorite.

  • Mix it up: Don’t just stop at the beach - take a walk around Soldier’s Memorial Park or rent a kayak for an hour to really get the full lake experience.
