The Singing Sands Sand Sculpting Festival transforms Washington Park in Michigan City into an outdoor gallery of incredible artistry July 17-19. The centerpiece of the festival is a professional sand sculpting competition and exhibition showcasing some of the world's most talented sculptors creating massive works of art right on Michigan City's iconic lakefront beach.

Beyond the main competition, the festival features local and regional food vendors, an artisan market, the Community Challenge, the QUICK SAND Speed Sculpting Show, sand sculpting demonstrations, and more. A one-of-a-kind summer event that truly has to be seen to be believed.
