The La Porte County Public Library is thrilled to present An Evening with Marie Benedict, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over ten acclaimed works of historical fiction. Marie will discuss her forthcoming novel Daughter of Egypt, scheduled for release on March 24, 2026, followed by a Q&A and book signing. Copies of the book will be available for purchase through local partner The Press, an independent bookstore based in Valparaiso - or bring your own copy for signing! A cash-only bar will be open throughout the event. This event is free to attend but registration is required. Donations to the Friends of the Library are welcome and help support future programs like this.
