Give your young artist a summer experience they'll remember at Friendship Botanic Gardens in Michigan City. This two-day watercolor camp runs July 8-9 from 9 to 11am, led by professional watercolor artist and educator Alexandra Hibshman. With a K-12 education degree and years of teaching experience across Michigan and Indiana, Alexandra brings a thoughtful, encouraging approach that helps kids ages 8-13 build real artistic skills and confidence.

Campers will learn watercolor techniques, sketch from observation, and complete projects inspired by the beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces of the Conservatories. All materials are included and no prior experience is needed. Class sizes are kept small for personalized instruction, so reserve your spot early. Each camper also goes home with one of Alexandra's signature watercolor kits to keep painting long after camp ends.
